Analysis tools
a) Tracking tools
The tracking measures listed below and used by us are carried out based on Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. f DSGVO. With the tracking measures used, we want to ensure a needs-based design and the ongoing optimization of our website. On the other hand, we use the tracking measures to statistically record the use of our website and evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our offer for you. These interests are to be regarded as legitimate within the meaning of the aforementioned provision. The respective data processing purposes and data categories can be found in the corresponding tracking tools.
b) Google Analytics
For the needs-based design and for the ongoing and continuous optimization of our pages, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (https://www.google.de/intl/de/about/) (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; consequently, referred to as "Google"). In this context, pseudonymized usage profiles are created and cookies are used. The information generated by a cookie about your use of this website, such as referrer URL, IP address, time of server request, browser type/version, operating system used, etc., is stored on your computer. This data is transferred to a Google server and stored there. Subsequently, this information is used to evaluate the use of our website. Furthermore, it enables us to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website and internet usage for the purposes of market research and demand-oriented design of these internet pages.
This information may be transferred to third parties if required by law or if third parties process this data on our behalf. c) Google Adwords Conversion Tracking
Google Conversion Tracking is used to statistically record the use of our website and also to optimize our website. For this purpose, Google Adwords stores a cookie on your computer (but only in the case that you have reached our website via a Google ad). This type of cookie loses its validity within 30 days and is not used for personal identification. If users visit certain pages of the website of Adwords customers and the validity of the cookie has not yet expired, Google customers can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Data protection authorities require the conclusion of a commissioned data processing agreement for the permissible use of Google Analytics. A corresponding template is offered by Google at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.pdf. It should be noted that each Adwords customer receives a different cookie. In conclusion, this means that these cookies cannot be tracked through Adwords customers' websites. Conversion cookies can be used to obtain additional information, which can be used to generate conversion statistics for Adwords customers who have opted into conversion tracking. Adwords customers receive the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, no information that can personally identify users is stored. If you do not wish to participate in the tracking process, you can also refuse the setting of a cookie required for this purpose. Another option would be to disable cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the "www.googleadservices.com" domain. Google's privacy policy on conversion tracking can be found here (https://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html).
